Kivételesen magyarul, ezt muszáj. Két hét Hollandia után bátran állíthatom hogy az ember lánya - jómagam - bezony a második országos költözés után is beleesik a kultúrsokknak csúfolt állapotba. Jelenleg a minden holland parasztnál tartok, lesz ez még így se, nézek nagyokat és általában utálom a többnyire esős időjárást - egyesek joggal emlegetik hogy nadehát te Angliában élsz, nem, még ott sem ennyire szar gyerekek.

Mindezzel egyetemben jól mondják a volt Erasmus cserediákok hogy életük egyik legszebb fél- illetve egyévét töltötték el külföldön, élmény van dögivel, nemzet meg még annál is több. Spanyolok eddig is őrültek voltak, amolyan helyes módon, franciák annyira nem arrogáns bunkók, a görögök tündérek, olaszok kedvesek, amcsik Európa buzikká érlelődtek, és végül, de nem utolsó sorban, a németek halálosan jófejek.

Próbálok majd angolul is, de jelenleg minima 30 különböző nyelv zsong a fejemben, szóval édes anyanyelvemhez húz legjobban a szivem, bocsesz.

fancy dress

I guess we - and under we I mean Europeans, as in non-British - will never understand it. What's with the birthday fancy dress? Does it have anything to do with the lack of carnival season? Let's face it, most of these tiny outfits are not for fun but for flash. Girls dressing up as nurses, ladybirds, Disney characters, you name it, as if there were any prostitutes in Snow White:S

mighty exams

Finally here they are, the exams, oh did I miss them and the sorroundings. Caffeine overdose, everyone is on the edge, and the geeks always find you with the most annoying question ever in history: How is your revision going? One month before the first exam a healthy uni student replies, are you kidding, I haven't even started, and then, the unavoidable, even more irritating hypothetical bullshite, Oh my God, you haven't started yeeeeeet???? The squeaky fake shocked voice just doubles your urge to hit the geek and bury his/her body next to the library where it belongs. To all my fellow normal students: don't do it, not worth it, after uni you'll have these people at your workplace too. Good luck.
p.s.: although they start revising mid-term they are gonna be the ones who'll faint at the exam because of panicking, at least there is a little tiny peace of comfort:D

Stalking and other obsessions

It has never been so easy. We are, including precious myself, literally everywhere. You don't even have to stalk someone site by site, it's enough to google them, and all the results just pop up. Name, birthday, cell number, email, facebook, twitter, hi5, it should be just a little bit harder, shouldn't it? Is this an exeggarated paranoid assumption, is it just me? Comments are welcome.

We are getting powder sugared too

Snow, snow and snow! Love it! It took 3 hours to get home but it's worth it! Pictures tomorrow, little surprise too, real communist caf visiting tomorrow, best latte and breakfast ever!

We are getting spicier

I've been to a Bengali little restaurant today in Budapest, the owners/chefs/waiters are from Bangladesh, they are nice and speak better English than Hungarian. Food was ok, atmosphere was great and I wish good luck for these lovely guys! Next time I'll definitely ask how on earth they chose Hungary, but we are glad. God they must be freezing now:D
